Who Qualifies

In order to qualify for Mater Academy SES, the student must attend a qualifying Title 1 school identified by the state as needing improvement and has not shown adequate yearly progress (AYP) for at least 2 consecutive years. How to Register

School districts will send enrollment information and forms to qualifying students at the beginning of the school year. Mater Academy, Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization that has served students in our community since the first school opened its doors in 1998 with 75 students. Today we have grown to become a network of 16 award-winning schools and a Supplemental Educational Services (SES) Program, all of which are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, (SAC) and AdvacED with a student body of over 8,000. Mater Academy, Inc. SES Program received a service designation of ‘EXCELLENT’ by the Florida Department of Education.

We believe that the future of education lies in partnerships between communities, parents, and educators and their commitment to prepare life-long learners. The “best practices” established by Mater Academy are supported by over ten years of educational success through experienced board members, involved parents and committed educators.
